REGISTERED GRAD NIGHT VOLUNTEERS

Senior Parents,

Thank you for supporting LGHS Grad Night and helping to make it the celebration of a lifetime for our Class of 2026 Graduates! We could not do this without you.

Volunteer Sign Ups and Your Point Of Contact

If you are unsure of your volunteer assignment, please email Yasmin Adams at info@lghsgradnight.com to confirm your check-in time and position.

????Each role has been assigned a lead as a point of contact. Your lead should reach out to you prior to Grad Night but if you haven't heard from them, or if you have questions about what to wear, what to bring, where to go—reach out to them.

If you need to cancel your shift please try to find a replacement and then email your point of contact and Yasmin Adams, what email address???. Please put CANCEL SHIFT in the subject line along with the date and time of your shift.

What You Need to Know

Where to park

There is a parking lot at the venue. If you are a chaperone on the bus, please park in front of the high school (not in any of the school lots). There will a bus that can take volunteers back to LGHS after the first shift.

????

Grad Night Check-In

On Grad Night, plan to arrive early for your shift so that you have time to park and check-in. You’ll enter Grad Night through the main doors of the venue. Our vendor and volunteer check-in tables will be just inside the main doors. Once there, we’ll give you more details about your shift, issue your event credentials, and tell you where to go. When it’s time to leave, you’ll swing back by our vendor and volunteer tables to drop off your credentials and exit through the main doors.

Event Credentials At the Venue

Parent/Guardian volunteers will be asked to wear a Grad Night lanyard while at the venue or on the bus. THe lanyard will be your event credential, enabling security to identify you as someone who is authorized to be inside the event space. If you're uncertain of what to wear given the role you signed up for check with your volunteer point of contact.

No matter how much planning we do, things happen. Please bring your patience, comfortable shoes, and flexible attitude with you to Grad Night. It’s going to be amazing!

Emergencies and Security Escalations

Security issues or medical emergencies arising during Grad Night will follow our Grad Night emergency procedure policy. Escalations will be directed to our Security Chair, ????. We have senior parent volunteers who are also registered nurses or medical doctors, and they'll be on hand covering our First Aid shifts throughout the night.

Food & Beverage

On Grad Night, June 6, we’ll have coffee, water and snacks on hand inside our Parent Lounge which will be on the second floor of the venue. Personal water bottles or travel mugs will not be permitted on the buses or inside the event space.

Grad Night provides a safe and sober event for our Graduates. Parent/Guardian volunteers who have been drinking alcohol will be asked to leave.

If working the event, please do not eat any of the food or drinks provided for the Graduates.

Restrooms

Vendors and volunteers may use the restrooms inside the venue.
