VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS
Planning and executing Grad Night is a labor of love that cannot happen without support from the entire LGHS parent community. This is a great time for Freshman, Sophomore and Junior parents to learn what is around the corner, and for Senior parents to have one last celebration with their graduates.
PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU VOLUNTEER:
One Volunteer per Slot:
To ensure adequate coverage across all roles and to allow as many parents as possible the opportunity to volunteer, we are limiting sign-ups to one volunteer per designated role (no sharing of a role).
Registered Volunteers Only:
Only parents who are officially signed up and trained as registered volunteers will be permitted to attend Grad Night for their shift only. This policy also applies to spouses, friends, or other individuals who are not registered volunteers. This is in place to manage capacity and ensure the focus remains on our graduating seniors and the volunteer duties.
Mandatory Volunteer Safety Training:
For the safety and well-being of attendees, all Grad Night volunteers are required to attend a mandatory safety training via Zoom. Further details regarding the date/time of this training will be announced soon, so please keep an eye out for that communication.
Casino Volunteer Mandatory Training:
For those of you who have signed up to assist with the Casino, there will be a mandatory casino-specific training session. This training will take place after the mandatory safety training and is expected to last approximately one hour. Details for the casino training will be shared following the safety training announcement.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with these requirements, which are in place to ensure a well-organized and safe event for our graduates.
