Time

Check in starts at 10pm with graduates arriving at the Large Gym. Please arrive on time as the check in process may take some time. Buses will depart from LGHS by 10:30pm.

Getting there

Grad Night is an all-night event, and graduates will likely be tired after an action-packed graduation week. Grad Night organizers ask that parents and guardians provide or arrange rides for their student(s) on Grad Night, both for drop off and pick up to ensure a safe event. Graduates will not be allowed to drive themselves to the event.

What to bring/not bring?

Graduates are discouraged from bringing purses, backpacks or water bottles to the event as they will not be allowed inside, but stored for the entire event. However, if you need to bring something to carry medicine or other important essentials, a supervised coat check system will be available at our Student Entrance. We recommend students bring only what can be easily carried. .

  • Approved clear bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12”. These include the following clear bags:
  • Clear Fanny Packs
  • Clear Bags
  • Clear Purses
  • One-gallon clear plastic zip lock-type bags

Policies

There are no in-and-out privileges. Graduates are expected to stay for the duration of the event and take one of the charter buses back to LGHS. Should your graduate wish to depart early, they must be picked up at the venue by a parent or other responsible adult. If someone other than the graduate's parent will be picking them up, the graduate's parents will be called and will need to give verbal permission. Once a student leaves the event, there is no re-entry. Students will be expected to adhere to school event policies. Parents will receive a phone call if a student has not checked in to Grad Night. See Grad Night Rules for all event policies.
