What is Grad Night?  

Grad Night is a long-standing tradition that celebrates our graduates in a safe, sober, and unforgettable

way. At Los Gatos High School the event is 100% parent-organized, funded, and executed. This treasured event began in  1959 and provides a safe and sober celebration for our school's graduates. In the past it has been held on campus, at a bowling alley, at a park, and at Great America. The event is full of fun activities, unexpected entertainment, delicious food, and more. Specific details are kept secret so the graduates will be surprised and delighted throughout the night.

2026 LGHS Grad Night

This year, Grad Night will be held off campus. Please understand that we are not abandoning tradition. We are honoring it by elevating it. Grad Night 2026 will continue to be a safe and sober night, full of surprises, laughter, and joy in a new location that allows us to deliver an even more exciting, secure, and dynamic experience. Parents will still drop off and pick up their graduates at LGHS, and transportation to and from the venue will be via charter buses. As with previous years, graduates are expected to stay for the entire event. To ensure safety, if a student wishes to leave early, a parent must pick them up at the off campus location.

How Parents Help 
Parent support is paramount!  The weeks leading up to graduation are busy for all, so please keep the following in mind:

• Read all communications – emails will come from LGHS or info@lghsgradnight.com 
• Buy your ticket EARLY – since this is a self-funded event, we need your ticket sales to pay the deposits for the venue and vendors
• Volunteer –  volunteer at Grad Night or look for jobs as the needs are posted
• Positive Support – Hype up the event to your student, encourage attendance, and support the event by blocking out your schedule to drop off and pick up your graduate at LGHS.  Please do not host your own events during Grad Night hours!

Grad Night tickets include:

• Admission to Grad Night
• Transportation from LGHS to the venue and back to LGHS
• All activities and entertainment
• All food & beverages
• Chances to win prizes at the event
• Ticket prices:
• Early bird October 1 - 15 $225
• October 16 - April 4th: $250
• April 5th - noon on June 5th: $300
• Please note there will be a processing fee added at checkout
